Risk of poverty

In 2016 (income year 2015), 15.5% of the population in Belgium was at risk of poverty. To achieve the sustainable development goal by 2030, this figure must be reduced. The Federal Planning Bureauʹs projections indicate that this objective will be reached. The risk of poverty is therefore developing favourably.
